We are seeking an Operations Manager near Temple, TX.
The position is primarily responsible for providing leadership, directing and facilitating all Depot activity to ensure company objectives are being met by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Provides oversight on all Depot activity to include Backlog Management, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory, Purchasing, QC, Warranties and Process Improvements.
*Reports to and works with Operations Director to help direct and support Depot Operations personnel in their objectives.
*Is responsible for overall facility aesthetics and improvements.
*Is responsible for overall leadership of the location Depot.
*Travels locally and multi-state.
*Interacts with Clients and Company leadership.
Manages subordinate supervisors and non-supervisory employees reporting to the position. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing; hiring; and training employees; planning; assigning; and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Develops team members’ competencies.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or Bachelor’s Degree; or 3 to 5 years working experience in a leadership role or combination of both.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
